About Don’t Stop The Music
Don’t Stop The Music was created in order to raise funds for people in the events industry affected by the Covid-19 pandemic; be they techies, roadies, lampies, agents, musicians – whoever may need some financial support.
I’ve been lucky enough to work in the industry for the last 25 years and I had to do something to help those people during this unnerving and disruptive time.
The Mission
I’m selling the products (merch) that you can see on the website to bring in those funds.
This isn’t about making money for myself. I’ve covered the cost of the merch to get this idea rolling and then all profits from sales will go into the fund ready to be given to those who need some help.
The Merch
There are various items for sale, branded with the Don’t Stop The Music logo (designed by Kathy Mowatt).
One of the items is a unique published book that is thought provoking and funny with extraordinary words from over 80 musicians, event industry experts, and those ‘behind the scenes’ people.
The Fund
Distribution of the money will be done by word of mouth or request. If you need help, ask. If you know of someone who is in need tell me. Only I will know who the actual recipients are.
What Else?
Don’t Stop The Music is an ongoing and changeable project.
